NATSIPA would like to invite your Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander postgraduate students to our conference.
Registration is FREE and students can register at: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/
For students facing financial hardship NATSIPA is offering scholarships up to $1,000 to support attendance.
Established in 1991 NATSIPA (formerly known as NIPAAC) is a national network of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander postgraduate students and non-Indigenous student supporters. Our goal is to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders can access postgraduate education in a fair and equitable manner.
NATSIPA works towards better support, greater funding, and improved opportunities for Indigenous Australians in higher education. We strive to create a comprehensive program to increase public awareness and commitment to partnerships that restore and retain Indigenous spirituality, cultures and languages, social systems, economic systems and self-determination.
The conference covers a range of key note addresses and workshops to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander postgraduate students who are completing research or coursework studies in their PhD, Masters or Honours.
I hope that some of your students are able to attend this very exciting coming together of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and academics from across the county.
