CAPA welcomes the Albanese Labor Government’s second-term approach to economic development: “primarily productivity without forgetting inflation”. As the committee is well aware, for the past two decades, productivity in Australia has languished. As a major driver of individual wealth, focusing on improving productivity is a noble cause for this government.
