31st July 2025 – The Council of Australian Postgraduate Associations (CAPA) is proud that, after years of campaigning for fairer Higher Education Loan Programs repayment thresholds, today the Federal Labor Government passed legislation which includes our recommendation to increase the minimum HELP repayment threshold to approximately the median wage.
