Becoming a "member" of CAPA

Anyone is welcome to sign up to the CAPA Website by creating a user account.

Postgraduate students who are members of affiliated representative organisations are already "members" of CAPA, and we thank you for supporting your local postgraduate representative organisation.

Postgraduate students who are members of an independent student organisation currently affiliated with CAPA will have access to additional resources on our website. Please indicate your university by editing your signature under "comment settings" to be able enjoy the full benefits of the site.

If there is currently no independent organisation offering services and representation for postgraduate students on your campus, and you would like to see one, we encourage you to get in touch with any or all of the following:

  • Your Dean or Director of Graduate Studies
  • Your Director of Student Services
  • Your Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice Chancellors
  • Your local student union or guild
  • The local branch of the National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU)
  • Your local CAPA Regional Secretary
  • The CAPA President direct, at president@capa.edu.au
* Please note that spaces are allowed in the username registration field below - so you may enter "Firstname<space>Lastname" as your username.
