Job posting: Senior Policy Officer (Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research)

The $50m a year Enterprise Connect initiative is a major plank of the Government's industry and innovation policy. It is a national business advisory service that directly helps over 1000 SMEs a year to adapt, change and grow in various sectors including Manufacturing, Clean Energy, Creative Industries and remotely located firms. The Policy Section sits within the Enterprise Connect Branch which delivers the program. The positions within the policy team will suit energetic and motivated individuals with an interest in the further program development of Enterprise Connect, and related SME policy and analytical work.

As a member of the policy team, the successful applicant(s) will be involved in program development issues related to the Enterprise Connect initiative, preparation of briefs and correspondence, analysis of data, support to advisory boards, and broader policy issues related to Enterprise Connect and its clients including entrepreneurship, management and leadership.
