Job posting: PhD Coordinator (ANU)

Applications are invited for a PhD Coordinator in the Regulatory Institutions Network, part of the School of Regulation, Justice and Diplomacy in the College of Asia and the Pacific.

The successful applicant will be expected to conduct an active research program, as well as be the RegNet PhD program coordinator, responsible for the PhD program. Appointment to this position will be at a level commensurate with research record and will be for a fixed term period of five years.

The Regulatory Institutions Network (RegNet) is an interdisciplinary research group. RegNet's main goal is to challenge and advance current understanding and approaches to questions of private, public, and NGO governance through regulatory frameworks that develop evidence-based theory, policy and practice. It is considered one of the world's leading centres in sociolegal studies. RegNet's current research projects cover areas as diverse as climate change, restorative justice, peacebuilding, policing and security, intellectual property and social inclusion. We are particularly interested in scholars with a research record or research plans in Asia and the Pacific.

Successful candidates for this position would be, or have the demonstrated potential to be, an internationally recognised scholar in his or her area, a successful applicant for competitive research grants and an energetic teacher and supervisor of graduate students.
