Job posting: Manager, Higher Degree Research Students (USQ)

Salary: USQ Level 6 $55,688 to $60,313 pa

The Manager, Higher Degree Research Students will manage the Higher Degree Research courses at USQ by coordinating research scholarships, and managing training programs for academic supervisors and HDR students relating to research scholarships at USQ. The appointee will also provide a high level of management advice to the Postgraduate Support Officer as well as providing management reports of HDR student applications, enrolments, confirmations and graduations to the Director, Office of Research and Higher Degrees.

Appointment is available on a full-time continuing basis

Applicants must have completed a degree in a relevant area with work experience in research administration and committee support or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training. Applicants must also demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of university and faculty policies and procedures relating to student matters.
