Overview:
Griffith International is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join their International Student Advisory team. This cross-campus team is responsible for facilitating international student satisfaction and retention through planning, development and implementation of support and welfare advice services for international students at both the undergraduate and post graduate levels.

The role:
Being based at the Nathan campus, you will work cooperatively with the team of International student advisors to support international students by:

* planning, coordinating and participating in the presentation of a wide range of international orientation activities
* liaising with academic sectors (Schools) as well as other Nathan support services
* completing administrative procedures associated with requests for leave of absence, payment plans and intervention support procedures
* maintaining contact with Australian Government Offices and relevant community groups in relation to international student issues
* developing networks with the international student body by promoting and supporting social activities

Your excellent interpersonal skills will allow you to interact diplomatically and effectively with diverse individuals (in one on one consultations) or with groups of students who are non-native speakers of English. Your strong problem solving skills and initiative will assist you to resolve complex student issues requiring consultation both within the team and with the wider university community. Your strong organisational skills will allow you to prioritize multiple tasks with composure and calm.

Salary range:
$57,086 - $61,030 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $66,792 - $71,406 per annum.
