Critical position
Leading private higher education provider based in the CBD has a challenging role for an individual who enjoys a very responsible role, where every action has a consequence to someone else's livelyhood.
Majority of students are non-Australian residents coming into the country to further their studies and skills - which means that this role requires an individual who is able to communicate in one of the following languages - Cantonese, Korian or Mandarin. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Responsible for planning, organising and execution of Cultural and social events for new and continuing students.
Student welfare - Under 18 students, OSHC needs of students, housing related issues etc.
Accomodation and homestay arrangements.
Student orientation.
Consumable and stationary procurement.
Additional duties for student orientation.
General administration.
This is a critical role in the lives of the students, so your strong communication & interpersonal skills will stand you in good stead. A good sense of urgency, ability to work as part of a well oiled team and ability to particiapate in professional development programs a must.
Preference will be given to an individual who has knowledge of the relevant sections of the ESOS Act 2000 and the NCP 2007.
