Job posting: Postgraduate Student Liaison Officer (UQ)

A Student Liaison Officer able to deliver a high level of customer service to the School’s postgraduate students is required to work within a team environment.

The Role: This position is located at the St Lucia campus and the successful applicant will join the Business School’s student liaison team in providing support and advice to staff and postgraduate students. In consultation with the School’s Student Administration Manager, this position administers the University’s and School’s policies and procedures related to postgraduate coursework students.

The Person: The successful applicant will possess good communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to interact effectively with people at all levels. A commitment to providing a high level of customer service, the desire to work as part of an integrated team, and a working knowledge of Microsoft applications is required. A sound knowledge of the University’s policies and procedures, including student database systems, and previous customer service and student administrative experience in a university or tertiary environment would be advantageous.

Remuneration: This is a continuing, full-time appointment at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range of $47,840.09 to $53,580.45 per annum, and employer superannuation contributions of 17%.
