As the Disability Liaison Officer you will provide effective assessment and services to students who have a disability or long term medical condition. You will be required to organise services to enable clients of the Disability Liaison Unit to participate as fully and as independently as possible in their learning and university life.

In order to succeed in this role you will demonstrate an understanding of the educational impacts of a broad range of disabilities, the capacity to assess educational needs, foster independence and appropriate risk taking amongst adult students with disabilities. A degree level qualification in an educational and/or disability related field and/or experience in a tertiary education environment is essential.
