2009 Fulbright Victoria Scholarship

Undertake research towards an Australian PhD and build research links with leading U.S. institutions.

Applications are now open for the inaugural 2009 Fulbright Victoria Scholarship. Valued at up to $40,000 this scholarship supports a talented Victoria based postgraduate or postdoctoral scholar to undertake study or research in the United States for three to twelve months.

The scholarship may be started anytime between 1 July 2009 and 30 June 2010.

Applicants are considered by their academic and professional merit; clearly defined and achievable projects; and the potential for their projects to add-value and contribute to Victoria’s economic development and research opportunities.

Fulbright Scholarships provide excellent opportunities to build or enhance strategic links with U.S. research organisations.
