Treasurer

Adrian Soh was born in Melbourne Australia in January 30th 1982. He earned his Bachelor degrees in both political science and economics at La Trobe University in 2004. He earned his honours in political science in 2006 and is currently trying to upgrade his Masters by Research degree to a Doctoral degree in the area of economics. His research topic is on the economic policies of Venezuela’s current president Hugo Chavez. Before his election as Treasurer of CAPA, Adrian served as Co-Regional Secretary for the South East Region, which includes Victoria and Tasmania. He held the roles of Vice President and Education Officer of the La Trobe University Postgraduate Association throughout most of 2010. Previously, he held various roles at the La Trobe University Business Students’ Association (BSA) from 2004-2010. Furthermore, he teaches economics at La Trobe University. He is also currently the General Secretary of the La Trobe University Business Club, an organisation dedicated to selling various items for charity and providing interpersonal skills training for undergraduate students. Adrian has nominated greater transparency within CAPA, diversification of CAPA revenues, a balanced CAPA budget and enhanced regional funding as his key priorities during his tenure as Treasurer.
