2009 CAPA Postgrad Roadshow - Queensland
The 2009 CAPA Roadshow was presented in Queensland on Monday 21 September, generously
supported by The UQ Graduate School.
CAPA’s Postgrad Roadshow offers postgraduate students a unique opportunity to meet and network with postgrads from other universities and across disciplines. Attendees at the event included postgraduates from the Australian Catholic University, Bond University, Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology, Southern Cross University, University of Queensland and University of Sunshine Coast.
The program comprised three events, all of which were free and open to all postgraduate students based in the region.

Building and Sustaining Postgraduate Networks Guest Speaker: Professor Hugh Possingham, FAA. Director of the Ecology Centre at the University of Queensland Postgraduates benefit personally, professionally and academically through network building while at university. This workshop session brings together guest speakers and postgraduates from across Queensland to discuss a range of network building opportunities for postgraduates, including by institution, academic discipline and other interests. The workshop will outline opportunities for network building, and for finding resources to support postgraduate participation and engagement in academic and university life. |
