International Student Welcome BoothThe Office of Knowledge Capital will be staffing the Student Welcome Booth in the International Arrivals Hall at Melbourne Airport to assist the mid-year intake of students as they arrive to study in Melbourne.
Welcome event for international studentsThe City of Melbourne invites international and local students to join in the festivities o welcome new international students to the city.

International Student City Ambassador ProgramCity Ambassador volunteers are trained volunteers who rove the city centre retail core in distinctive red uniforms answering all kinds of queries from melbourne's diverse community - from people who've come from across the world to those who've come from across town.
Volunteers provide their services without financial payment and offer a friendly and informative welcome to visitors.
The International Student City Ambassador Program encourages international students to get involved and be trained as a City Ambassador for a three-month period.

GloBALL programThe GloBALL program provides opportunities for international students to interact with the broader Victorian community through Aussie rules football. Activities include:
- game visits and football clinics
- career and health seminars
- events and opportunities to meet new people and make friends
- experience AFL up close and personal
This program is supported by the City of Melbourne, Australian Federation of International Students (AFIS), RMIT, AUSTRADE, and the Essendon Football Club.
