LOOKING AFTER WOMEN’S INTERESTS - PAY EQUITY INQUIRY

The Office for Women is situated in the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs and will appear before the House Employment and Workplace Relations Committee in Committee Room 1R3 Parliament House Canberra on Thursday 25 September from 11 am to discuss recent trends in pay equity and possible priority areas.

CAPA builds relationship with Australian Federation of University Women (AFUW)

In recent weeks, CAPA has been in contact with the Australian Federation of University Women. AFUW is keen to encourage further ties with CAPA including an exchange of ideas about government policy in the area of women's involvement in higher education.

Endeavour Research Fellowships

The Endeavour Research Fellowships provide financial support for postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows from Australia to undertake short-term research (4-6 months), in any field of study. The research is to be undertaken in participating countries within the Asia/Pacific region and the Middle East.

The Endeavour Research Fellowships aim to:

enable high achieving scholars from Australia to undertake research within the Asia/Pacific region and the Middle East
