Important Event for Graduate Student Teachers and Educators
The Melbourne Graduate Students Association (GSA), together with MGSE and the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, are inviting graduate student teachers (pre-service teachers), beginning teachers and educators to hear a presentation by noted international educator Dr Neil Hawkes on his experiences of introducing values-based education into schools in London and in Australia. This session is a must for pre-service teachers, beginning teachers and educators who are interested in quality learning and teaching. Participants will receive free copies of classroom resources for using values-based approaches, including:
• The Values Education Good Practice Schools Project: Stage 2, Final Report
• Building Values across the Whole School
• Supporting Student Wellbeing through Values Education.
