The role of Honours programs (ALTC Issues Paper)
The Issues Paper is part of a study, funded by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (formerly Carrick Institute), to map Honours across Australian universities, in order to inform the current widespread debate in the sector about Honours, from disciplinary level to policy level.
The Issues Paper has been designed to capture current perceptions from university managers, Deans and Directors of Graduate Studies, Coordinators of Honours programs and students in an attempt to map the current and likely future terrain. The Issues Paper takes the form of a summary of issues and the questions arising out of them, to which responses are invited.
Closing date for responses: Friday June 27th, 2008.
